Using their signature blend of dance and theatre, The Outlaw Style Thrance Co. tells
the tale of a motley crew of not so clever crooks who bungle a burglary. The show has
been inspired by the 1958 Italian film Big Deal On Madonna Street and Bob Fosse's
1986 musical Big Deal.
Life may be a bowl of cherries, but not for these crooks. Our hapless gang stumble on
what is arguably the job to retire on. All they need to do is find a fall guy, seduce a male
nurse, scale a building, break through a wall, and then crack a safe. And that's the easy
part.
The Heist Show: A Thrance Caper features music by Preston Oliver, Aretha Franklin,
Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, The Latin Playboys, Fun Boy Three, Sly and the Family
Stone, Terry Adams, Holly Cole, and Chandler Travis.
The cast of The Heist Show: A Thrance Caper includes Kelly Grete Ehlert, Joseph
Beck, Cj Merrimen, Alesha Nicole Palmer, Raymond McFarland, Juanita Chase,

and costume designs are by Etta Ray. Lighting design is by Ella, Sadie, and Trixie
Minx and sound design is by Angus Charles. Stage manager is Suze Campagna.
