Rude Guerrilla presents the Premiere of

SEVEN DEADLY SINS
July 25!

Rude Guerrilla Theater Company is pleased to announce the SEVEN DEADLY SINS: Seven Premiere

One Act Plays by Dave Barton, David Johnston, Steven Parker, RJ Romero, Erika Tai, Robert M.

Tully and Ken Urban as the seventh production in its eleventh season.

Lust, Sloth, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Envy, and Pride meet their match in go-go boys reading

Joyce, fat men sitting on couches, texting while snorting cocaine, water-boarded jihadists,

demonic justice at the end of a whip, the birth of evil and Greek Mythology run amok.

Included is the West Coast Premiere of Johnston’s YES YES YES and Urban’s TECMESSA, as well

as the World Premiere of Barton’s WHAT IS THE WORD...WITH APOLOGIES TO SAMUEL BECKETT,

Parker’s AERIUS EQUINUS, Romero’s THE MATRIARCHS, Tai’s EXCESSORIES and Tully’s SLOTH.

Please note: The production is for mature audiences.

“All seven plays were commissioned by Rude Guerrilla for this project, from a variety of new

and established playwrights” says Co-Artistic Director Jay Michael Fraley. “They’re all

edgy, in a variety of styles and genres—from comedy to tragedy, from movement-based to

improvised--with each packing a punch. They’re funny, scary, political, sexy and short…If

one doesn’t suit your tastes, there’s another right around the corner.”

Directed by RGTC Members Kristin Elliot, Brenda Kenworthy, Alexander Price and RJ Romero, as

well as guest directors Phil Forrest and Samantha Wellen, the production opens Friday July

25, 2008 and runs thru August 30 for 16 performances at 202 N. Broadway, in Santa Ana. Show

times are Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 pm., with Sunday matinees @ 2:30 p.m. starting

August 10. There is a single Thursday show on August 28 @ 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 general

admission, $15 for seniors and a cheap $10 for students with an ID.
