In Dancing with the Bad Man, a “older” novelist and a “younger” movie star meet by chance and fall in love. As movie star “Erik James,” Nick Ballard has the looks/acting chops to make his portrayal totally believable.
Lovely Bibi Tinsley brings intelligence and 40something sex appeal to the role of novelist Maggie Davis. This is a funny and touching story
of love, and recovery from grief, written by Sarah Bewley and sensitively directed by Actors' Co-Op's Gary Lee Reed (who also designed the effective set). There is real chemistry between Ballard and Tinsley.
Dancing with the Bad Man is well worth your time, and besides, you'll be able to say you saw Nick Ballard before he became a household name. OCTOBER 5, 2006, ALLIANCE REPERTORY COMPANY, BURBANK.
